CONNICE CAMPSIE - Connie Campsie is an alt-singer-songwriter based in London. Over the last year, she has been unfurling her latest EP ‘Now That I Know You’ across venues in the capital until it’s celebrated release in May. Her honest story telling and dreamy melodies traverse a second coming of age where her relationships, queerness and girlhood are at the centre. Sonically, she’s a patchwork of late 90s alternative music with traditional singer-songwriter tendencies. Her angelic voice is bound to give you whiplash when you’re confronted with her brutal and poignant lyricism.
She received overwhelming support from Spotify, featuring as the cover for their independent-artist-only playlist, ‘Fresh Finds UK’, alongside being championed in ‘New Music Friday UK’, ‘The Indie List’ and ‘Glow UK&IE’ amongst others. After being called one of 2023’s ‘Artists To Watch’ by The Rolling Stone, she’s received praise from NME, Wonderland, DORK and more .
Whilst she continues to charm new audiences with her cynical humour and unabashed vulnerability, work is well under way for the next chapter. As it begins to unfold in studio sessions and dalliances with her voice note app, she warns, “there will be blood.”
