Emerging from lockdown in a blaze of boredom and frustration is His Lordship, a duo set to single handedly reignite London’s live music scene.
The new project from guitarist James Walbourne (The Pretenders, The Pogues, The Rails) and Kristoffer Sonne (Chrissie Hynde, Willie Nelson), His Lordship is the sound of Walbourne unleashed as a frontman; a furious riot of raging guitar and perverted drums from another dimension.
What do you get if you take Gene Vincent and The Blue Caps, MC5, Bo Diddley, Johnny Thunders and Jerry Lee Lewis and put them in a blender? NOT His Lordship, but something close.
