Thursday, March 25 Club Panda presents Nixa, Never Means Maybe, Tell It To The Marines 7.30pm £7
NIXA are four men from London who've just released the '33' / 'Exit Strategy' double AA-side single and who've been described as being "Astonishingly assured and bursting at the seams with weighty riffs," by Kerrang! Rock Sound meanwhile reckoned Nixa "play a brand of supermassive balls-out rock that successfully marries radio-friendly melodies with occasional post-rock dabbling."

ONSTAGE: 10:00 NEVER MEANS MAYBE are from Chelmsford in Essex. This much we know because this week they are the focal point of Kerrang!'s Local Heroes feature, in which the band decide they sound like something called pop-core. "We're all about the hooks, screams, riffs and melody." They say. "Think screamo from the likes of Glassjaw and Refused with the huge choruses of The Used, Finch and Thrice and you're on the right track..."

ONSTAGE: 10:00 TELL IT TO THE MARINES continue the East Anglian thread by steaming in from Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk. They play crunchily heroic post-emoindierock with lovely melancholic bits when you least expect them, as evinced by the musical fireworks on, erm, 'Fireworks'.
