CATE LE BON : Welsh chanteuse Cate Le Bon first released a Welsh language EP Edrych yn Llygaid Ceffyl Benthyg back in 2008, and her much-lauded debut full release (put out by long-time collaborator Gruff Rhys of the Super Furry Animals) My Oh My provided equal measures of hauntingly beautiful folk and unpredictable, experimental psychedelia. Calling to mind the dark storytelling ways of Nico, full of strong references to her surrounding clan of musical collaborators in Gorkys Zygotic Mynci or the aforementioned S.F.A., Cate also featured in Gruff Rhys and Boom Bip's Neon Neon project on bass guitar and vocals. www.myspace.com/catelebon
