The UK debut all-American electronica wild child
California-native Big Wild, who’s taken the electronica scene in America by storm, comes to London for his UK debut show.
Described as “a breath of fresh air”, Big Wild’s tunes feature infectious grooves and sun-shiney melodies reminiscent of the west coast waves he hails from. His latest EP Superdream, that he’ll be bringing to The Lexington, is chock full of nostalgic 80s dance vibes and soulful hooks, guaranteed to get you on your feet.
Support will be provided by Rome in Reverse, the solo project debuted in 2014 by the Italian artist Antonella Pacifico who has since relocated to Copenhagen, Denmark. RIR’s environment is a melted collection of club dance music, blissed-out trance-techno, ambient dub and dreamy trip hop sounds driven by up/downtempo electronic beats. Her emotive and melancholic textures are also occasionally accompanied by her vocals.
